The cost of a stamp will rise from 39 cents to 41 cents staring Monday, May 14, a U.S. Postal Service release said. The 41-cent stamps are currently being sold at post offices.
Besides the rise in the cost of a first-class mail stamp, other postal costs also will increase on May 14, including costs to mail a postcard, priority mail (1 pound) and priority mail flat-rate box, according to the release.
